We opened in May 2010 and the provision is held in the dining hall. At Abacus we
follow the EYFS and plan daily for the children. At our last OFSTED inspection we
achieved a “Requirements met with no advisories” grade at this setting. On offer
at the provision are small world toys, games, Xbox or play station, Lego, creative
activities, home corner, books, larger equipment and we have use of outdoor space
daily. Only the children of Langtons Infant and Junior Schools can attend this setting
as we do not collect from other sites. This does mean that children can attend the
after school clubs run by the school providing the relevant forms are completed and
we will then collect them and bring them to the setting. The only activity we cannot
take your child to is inflatable day. Abacus has a Breakfast Club that is held in
the dining hall before school.
